Paperwork

I deliver excellent standards of presentation, whether online or on paper (which is why I have made this website, rather than sub-contract for it). Those instructing me can expect to receive advices, backsheets, etc., by email as soon as I have completed the work with 2 copies on Conqueror laid vellum paper returned by dx. I password protect all my paperwork.

My backsheets are typed and contain a full note of judgment and are designed so that they can be read in detail (by reading all the text) or in key sections only, which are emboldened (i.e. any crucial information and always the order given at the end of a hearing).

I take particular care over written advice, using superbly composed English aimed at both my professional and lay clients. You will not find cliche or hackneyed expressions in my work, since I prefer to use my creative powers to make a point instead. Professional clients report that their lay clients find my advices arresting, illuminating and comprehensive.
.
I prefer to give written advice other than at the last moment, with a view to going beyond merely a legal view of a given situation. For example, if advising a commercial director as to the proper course of action in an IT related dispute, I would expect to assess the merits of the negotiating options as well (unless instructed not to, of course) as publicity issues.
.
I expect to return advices to my instructing solicitors within 10 working days of my having received the instructions and related paperwork (which includes paperwork digitally delivered).
